The extortion group ShinyHunters says it stole more than 2.2 million records containing customer personal data and internal corporate information from Kodak. Kodak has confirmed an unauthorized access event affecting a limited portion of its data and is investigating with external cybersecurity experts, while coordinating with law enforcement and stating it does not see current threats to operations. The incident comes as ShinyHunters previously claimed attacks leveraging the zero-day in Oracle PeopleSoft (CVE-2026-35273), though it’s unclear whether Kodak was affected through the same vector.
